Help Please

Hi Everyone, I am a newbe and here I am asking for help. I currently have a hp pavilion ze5500. Not sure how old it is but I think it is aboat boat anchor time. I was at Staples today and looking at the HP HDX 1630us. Ready to take it home and the clerk tells me this is a discontinued model and a new faster model will be out before Christmas. So my question is. Does anybody know what plans hp might have as far as new computers? Would like to buy soon!

I can't tell you what they will be putting out, but I always get excited over discontinued items. Unless you MUST have the latest and greatest, discontinued items typically mean you get something nice for less.

The thing is there's almost always going to be something newer and faster than whatever you just purchased in the computer world. If you wait, you'll probably find something else even faster than whatever else HP puts out.
