Help on Sound needED!!!

Hi all, i'm new to this forum.

the problem i am facing nw is that i am able to listen to music normally in my computer but when i go online to watch video or listen to music..there is no sound coming out from my laptop...also the bottom right hand side of my toolbar no longer have the volume control setting..


Is it because i have untick the wrong program in the ''msconfig'' service or startup?

if so, i have already enable all the service and startup..why is there still no sound when i go online watching video or listening to music?

Please help me =(

go to sound in control panel and see if the internal speakers are functional while u r connected to the internet...
 
hav u checked on device manager>?
is it tht the computer cannot recognise any sound card tht has been installed>

since ur device was recognised, y dont u roll back to ur original driver?
 
yea mostly... but just restore it if it has built-in stuff like cams, microphones... thts more advisable.
if u dont hav a restore disk, then use windows system restore if u hav created restore points
