I just need to test if a board is DOA, so I don't want to purchase a CPU I just need one to test for 5 minutes of use. I will no overclock it or adjust any voltages, just need to see like I said if the board is DOA. I will pay for all your shipping costs +$7 for your trouble and have it back to you very quickly.

Here's the CPU's I'm looking for listed in the mobo's support list-

Take it to a local computer shop, NOT BEST BUY, and have them test it for you. Should be cheaper on you anyway.

I don't think that would be cheaper. They'd charge me a flat hour rate, which is usually atleast $60-75 an hour atleast.

it's like $30 here or so just to do a diagnostic. takes 10 minutes to test a processor.

yea a lot of computer shops around here do free diagnostics, so you can take something into them and they will test it, but if i hadnt just sold my 6300 i would have sent that to you

Considering your not that far off if i had one of those cpu's id let you use it to test, but all i have in 775 is my q9450 and a bunch of older cedar mill and prescott p4's.

Yeah I also have a prescott P4, and the mobo doesn't POST with it.

I just ordered an E3200 because even if this mobo is dead I will be finding another board to test out the little celeron anyway. I would think, based on this mobo's support of other wolfdale cpu's that an E3200 would be supported.
