Help - my default setting is Spidf!

Hi

First pc build and using an asrock motherboard m3a770de with on board sound. Audio out includes normal stereo output plus spidf output. Problem is in Windows 7 the pc only reads this digital audio setting for output and gives no option for any other. So not sure if this is my brain , a motherboard or windows issue.

Any help greatfully appreciated on this TY
 
Check your motherboard manaul as i think it could be a jumper issue that has to be set or you have not installed the soundcard/drivers software correctly.
