Wireless adapter, installition problem

Gateway G6-300. On this comp I installed a Linkskey LKW-G750 Pen Size Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter and software. It seemed to work but called for a restart, after restarting I get this message,"The Windows registry or System INC file refers to this device file, but the device file no longer exists. If you deleted this file on purpose, try uninstalling the associated application using its uninstall or setup program. If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try reinstalling that application to replace the missing file." Then the comp goes into Safe Mode. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the device several and its the same every time. What can I do to replace the missing files onWindows registery or System Inc? Or is there another solution to my problem?

Thank You
William

Linkskey? The name makes me laugh. Anyways, cheap stuff can make things like this happen. Try running a registry cleaner to get rid of whatever was added there. If that doesn't help, do a system restore. I would strongly suggest not trying to reinstall that crap though, go with linksys/belkin/d-link or some other reputable company.

Wasn't watching close enough, got the Linkskey online at Newegg, I had just last week bought a Linksys Wireless Router, so when I saw Linkskey, I thought Linksys and ordered. I ask everyone to pay close attention when buying products, since buying I have noticed several products with names almost the same. Have got my Lynkskey/Linksys combination working with high speed, but havent got printers working yet.
Thank You
William
