this is my problem, while connected on internet playing sound will automatically restart my computer. Im using d-link as my internal modem and creative audigy as my sound card. my os is xp sp 2
 
How do you play this sound? Is it in a certain webpage? Do you click an icon or open a program to do this?
 
well if im going to play a music any mp3 music program while on internet or visiting a web page that have sound content or sometime using a any program that can produce sound for example an error made usually there is a warning sound or using a computer games , all will automatically restart and the xp will produce an error log at the window start
 
If you right click my computer and go into the device manager, do you see a red x or yellow explanation mark next to anything? If so what is it?
