Can someone recommend a good/decent set of PC speakers that I can plug directly into a TV without needing a separate audio receiver? I'm trying to save some space in our guest house so I dont want to hook up an entire home audio system, but I would like to get better sound out of the TV because the stock speakers are not very good. The TV is a 42" Samsung HD LCD that has just about every connection anyone needs, I would prefer to use the headphone out jack but if there is a better way I'm all eyes and ears.
The room it is going to be in is only 14L x 14W x 12H, so its a rather small room.............it is the main living area of the guest house. I'm not looking for anything that is going to blow the roof off just something to give me better sound at a decent level when someone is watching a movie.
The only stipulations I have are as follows:
-I dont want to spend over $80.
-They need to have a subwoofer along with being self powered.
I dont want to spend much on these because this room is really only used for the holidays and family functions, other than that the most love these will get are going to be when the cleaning lady (Aka my girl
) dusts them.
