I want to go to school soon for an associates degree in computer information technology, but I'm not sure which specialization to focus on. The choices are
-Personal computer support
-Software programmer/developer
-Web production and design
-Electronics system technician
-Network specialist
I really just want to take what will give me the most opportunity for good employment afterwards. Any info would be helpful... thanks.

Still seems to be a big market for Software programmer/developer's right now. Maybe others will chime in too...

Yes definitely software programmer
is the one to go. I recently saw the listing on a web
for the best job of the year, where software programmer was #1. I am currently employed in the field and see it still the career
to go in the future also. The second option I would go
with is the web design area. I mean come on everybody
needs a website :).

Is there specific fields in your college?

Because I'm doing Business Information Systems at my university and it will basically get me ready for all of them.

Would it not make more sense to decide on a career at which you, personally, will excel at?

In other words, what is your primary interest and where do your strengths lie?
