Help! I Can't Surf The Net!

Hi,

My laptop has a Proxim wireless network card, that allows me to connect to the internet from the hub(Belkin). I have been surfing the net for a few months already without any problems, just recently, my laptop and 2 more other computers couldn't surf the net at all even though it showed the network was still connected in the taskbar.

I have restarted my computer, reconnected, enabled all the services that related to network connection in the Administrative Tools(Control Panel), but nothing worked. If I leave it for a day, everything will comes back to normal, but I'm sure the problem will come again soon as it happened a few times already, and it's a pain in the neck.

I have a Jetstream connection, which is slightly slower than broadband.

So please, please Help......!!![/B]

I'm not familiar with Jetstream, but I'll assume it's a DSL connection by a Google search.

Can you ping out to Google or any other website when this happens? Also, try giving one of your other machines or your router a ping when it happens. If you can't ping out to google.com and you can ping a local machine, try pinging 64.233.187.99. That is an IP for Google so we can eliminate any DNS problems that you might be experiencing.
