Hi, this is my first post on the forum. Nice place you've got here, I hope i'll have the time to properly look round and maybe learn a few new things.
Anyway what I wanted to ask is how I can speed up my download times from the internet to the same as others are getting with the same hardware. I have a broadband connection to my laptop via a router. The BB speed is meant to be 512kbs but when I try and download songs they rarely get to above 5kbs. Now when I set up my music download program I remember it said somthing about not being able to use the correct ports or somthing like that. I'd like to know how I can configure my router or internet settings to get decent speeds.
