Helllpppp!!!!

i bought a new fujifilm finepix a210 digital camera 2 months ago,
everytime i my memory stick got full i used to hook up my digicam to the pc and upload the pic's in my computer, today when i hooked up my camera again to empty my memory card, a screen poped up in the right corner my monitor, it said ""power surge on hub port"" what the hell does that mean, i can't upload my pics anymore and i always used too untill today!!!!! i need help a.s.a.p.

no i dont have a hub, i tried all the USB Ports, still the same messege pops up, i just dont no what the reason is

Do you have a card reader? That would be the preferred method anyway, as transferring photos over the USB drains the batteries quite quickly.
 
never mind it's ok, i will just go take my memory stick to a wal-mart or something and empty it out.
p.s-it does drain the batteries extremely quick, i recharge my batteries fulll then when i hook my camera up with the usb, turn it on, then i notice my battery is very low, thats why it probaly says "power surge on hub port" im guessing
 
also hooking up your camera to your comp is not always a good thing....ive seen many times where someone has a virus and they don't know it...they hook up their camera and the virus sends a copy or a part of itself to the camera and that screws not only the camera but the USBs can get affected as well tho usually only with that object
