Having to reset my Linksys router

It seems like I have to do this alot. Sometimes while playing BF2 online, I will loose connection. I don't know if it's do to the router or BF2. If this is the problem, what router would you recommend that WON'T have this problem?
 
How often do you have to do this? I have to do it with my D-Link router about one every 4-6 months at least. And it usually takes 15 minutes to get it fully working properly again. In my experience, it's just the nature of these cheaper routers, as opposed to the couple hundred dollar ones from Apple, 3Com and so on...
 
Oh wow, well, one Comcast technician tried to tell me that it was the hardware firewall in the cable modem and the firewall in the router were interfering with eachother. Don't know how true that is, but worth looking into at least...
 
I think he gave you a load of BS :) I doubt that could be anything. I've had this problem with Linksys before. I've actually have another one just like it with the same problem. Another Linksys router with a different provider did it too.
 
Ok, yeah, I didn't really care since it doesn't happen that frequently (I really didn't think so either, sounded really far-fetched). Maybe try a D-Link or Netgear then, I know a few people that have had some similar problems with Linksys, so maybe it is a manufacturer thing..., good luck!
