Having computer trouble..

My computer freezes when i play games listen to music and watch videos anyone know how to fix this? Can it have something to do with the sound card?
 
it could be literally one of a hundred different possibilities. whenever you ask for help on here, please include your full system specs and operating system. also try to be more specific with the problem. does the screen completely freeze? or you getting a bluescreen?
 
Sorry, it does a screen freeze and the sound that is play at the moment of the freeze goes into a 2 sec loop until you turn off the computer.

System: Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Computer: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
3.00 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM

Ok So far I've gotten 2 crash screens and 3 or 4 solid blue screens and lots of full screen freezes with the repeating sound that is was currently playing does anyone know problem?
any programs that might fix it perhaps?
