Guitar amp as subwoofer

Is it possible to hookup a guitar amp as a subwoofer? I'm asking about this cause I have a nice practise amp, 10W, which is pretty good at low frequencies. I also have a nice 50W :D amp too but I don't want to risk that amp before I know for sure. I can change my Line In and Mic inputs into Line Out outputs so no problem with getting signal.
 
wow!! good question! hehe but i dont think it'll work since i tried plugging them into my boss gt-8 setup. and also i heard amp have a magnet static ( which is not good for your hd )

It works for me, I just tried it. Haven't heard of "magnet static" before.

EDIT:

Searched around on that "magnet static" and found out it's only dangerous if it's close to your HDD. By the way, it's the same risk you take when you have a pair of speakers close to your HDD, I think. Since they're magnetic and all. You can notice this if you put a speaker close to your monitor, atleast I do. Oh and my HDD should be seriously f***ed up by now, since I have a 10W amp, 50W amp, 6 pairs of speakers etc. near my comp.

It depends on whether or not the amp/speakers are magnetically shielded. If they are they most likely won't hurt your HD or any other computer components. But if they aren't magnetically shielded then you best keep them away from your HD.
 
I can get mine to work with my PC, and not just for bass, for audio too... Just hook it up to the PC normally, like you would for a set of speakers into the back of your PC. Obviously it won't power by itself, you'll have to plug it in...
 
Yeah, I know it works for audio too. Somehow the amp won't make the slightest noise when playing games, like CSS.
