GTX 780 Announced

It's better than the Titan. Pretty sure those people aren't too thrilled now, lol :cool:
 
it's not better than the titan for performance but you pretty much get 90% of the titan for $650 instead of $1000
 
This builder on another forum has this to say and I quote:

The 760ti and 770 will be directly rebranded GTX 670 and 680 respectively, and therefore are not worth waiting for. There is literally no differences between them besides the bios calling it a new card and slightly higher clock speeds which are attainable yourself. Save yourself the time and money, just get the 600 series.

The GTX 780 on the other hand is based on the GK110 and is a cut down version of the Titan. It does offer improvements and will be better than the 680 as a middle man placeholder to the Titan and 680/770.
 
Yeah, i heard the 770 is the 680 with a higher clock speed, but, if the 770 is $400 then the 770 is better then the 680 in terms of price.
 
I just upgraded from the GTX680 to the GTX780 and its definitely a nice performance bump. It's enough extra fps now that I can push games to their max. Definitely getting a second for the Triple screen setup but I'm definitely pleased with just the one for right now.

Also its looks awesome with the glowing Geforce GTX logo on the side :)
