Got Apache to work with Windows, but...

Read the log. It's been a while sinc eI used it, but you can set it to be ANYWHERE you want. Back when I used appache on my old server, I had my site on another HD.
 
Depending on where you installed it, but you need to find the apache DIR then open htdocs.

Delete everything that is in there (these are the files that apache put in there for you to lest localhost with) and place your index.html
