good wireless adapter for desktop

I'm looking to get a nice wireless adapter for my pc. I currently have a laptop that has built in wireless with a Linksys router downstairs. It gets a low to very low signal strength but never losses connection. Is there a good card for a desktop? Im looking to spend like $50 if possible thanks.

look at the one above its a PCI one and its in your price range.

Avoid the USB ones, they give a lot of problems with dropped signals.

i have this one right here and i have never got a dropped signal from it and its USB. What you said must have been personal experience cause i have had USB ones and have never had a dropped signal you must have just got a faulty one or it is a bad brand
