is 24bit sound pretty low or high or in the middle

24 bit is the standard and there is 32 bit cards but most 24 bit cards will have better sound cause most programs dont support 32 bit.

This is the card I have.. you have to look at it on different days. Yesterday they had an extra $30 instant rebate in addition to the $100 rebate.
