Good sound card for recording?

Hi so one of my christmas presents that i will be getting is a sound card, i already have this software that records sounds,voice, podcasts, etc. but the onboard sound card sucks! it echos, and screetches, and is very staticyy.
So my limit is 60$ i don;t want a top noche one, just a mi level sound card that will give my good sound quality while recording, and be clear and crisp.
And also a card that would sound good while watching moves and playing games...

I have the first card posted. The Creative Sound Blaster Xtreme Audio. It's pretty good i guess but again, i got it free brand new so I can't really complain. Over all it's pretty good I'd say

For recording M-Audio soundcards seem to be best. The Creatives are designed for gaming wheras the M-Audio's are designed for musical reproduction.
