goldeneye steam

dammit, i only like palying with other people online when im in the mood for it, that and they all seem to be miles better than me, lol. I prefer bots on HARD dificulty.

you gotta have Half Life 2 first, i tried without it and i couldnt play, its a mod with new weapons and maps that were just like in golden eye on N64

EDIT: extract the .zip content to:

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\goldeneye
 
Ahh Goldeneye...probably my favorite game of all time, any platform, any genre. The complex...the stack...facility...temple...those were the days. I was in 9th grade at the time, played that game tons at a friends house 4 player. We set up a divider system with boxes and board-game boards so we couldn't see each others' screens. :)

Couldn't wait for Perfect Dark to come out and then it did...and we went back to Goldeneye lol.
 
I download the GoldenEye Alpha 1.1 is that the right one. This one is not a extract is a run install game for 1.1 right. and also do I need Version 1.0 Client & Server. Please let me know ok thanks.

Edit: Then after that how do I start the game.

How come I got paintball mod?

One more thing. It when I connect to other servers it says maps/ge_facility.bsp is different from others. You know where to get the right one.

This game is great. Everyone should download it, even if there aren't many servers. This game is great. Almost exactly like the original Goldeneye. It will be even more like it when they finish it. Mmm, I like this game.

Paintball mod may be the server.
 
No. I created a server and it has the paintball mod on there too.

They're not even finish with it. When will they be? Or will they release an update.
 
Hmm, that's odd. Have you tried googling about it?

I'm not sure when it will be finished. It's just in testing right now, so it may be a while. It'll be a really good game when they finish though.
