Getting analogue output from HTPC

Hello,

I am building an HTPC with a DVB-T Tuner card and a DVB-S card.

What I am trying to do is feed the analogue satellite and terrestrial signals into the computer and then send them (still as

analogue signals), via a distribution diplexer to all the other rooms in my house, so each of these televisions can then use either of these signals with a freeview/freesat box.

What I essentially want to know is once I have sent these analogue signals into the computer, how do I get them out again?

I originally thought about TV Tuner Cards that have powered RF loop outputs, but these don't seem to be sold anymore.

I don't want to split the cables before they go into the PC either.

Any ideas of how I might go about pulling this off?

If your asking if you can do analog coaxial out with a tv tuner card or similar, the answer is pretty much no. The signal needs to be split before entering the tv tuner of the pc.

Hmm thought that might be the case. Been looking on the net and have seen mention of dedicated analogue out cards and outputting analogue through the VGA port, but nothing really that appears to work.

I know that the best option would be to add both signals to a distribution amp first and then some of these to the PC and the rest to the other TV's, but I would have to leave such an amp running 24/7 which would seem a bit unsafe to me.:(

I suppose I could just distribute the digital signal from the HTPC to each of the TVs, which would mean they would all have to show the same channel.

Thanks for your help.

What exactly kind of signal are you trying to receive?OTA and free satellite? Hard to understand from your original post.
