Getting 5.1 to work

I just bought Klipsch Promedia Ultra and I have plugged in all of the speakers which work during the sound test, but will not work with anything else. I only get sound out of the two front speakers and the sub. No sound from the center channel or the two back speakers. Any help???
 
Play around with the settings in your sound card driver. When I got my speakers I had the same problem as you, because my sound was set to 2 channel mode.

Now I have found that only things like dvds i pop into the computer that have 5.1 capability work. Everything else like downloaded episodes of tv shows and the like (music) can only be heard in 2.1

The bass does not seem to work very well with movies, but with music it's booming.
