Gateway FX6800-01e with Amber flashing power button

Hello,

I have a FX6800-01e that the power button is flashing amber (dim to bright) I have tried GW support (useless), i have looked at the online manuals (useless) I have read a couple of forums which state its the PSU or Mobo ( green light is on the mobo where the psu plugs into the board) . is there anyway to trouble shoot this further?

Reseat all memory, add in cards and see if that allows the system to boot.

i should have mentioned that i tried reseating the RAM, etc. ill try it again however.
