Gaming Computer (almost)

This is an almost complete computer, all it needs is the operating system, a hard drive, and a graphics card. I'm still waiting on the cooler and the PSU so will have those in and updated pics up ASAP. This is also up on Craigslist and i might put it on ebay too if it isn't gone by like next Wednesday or Thursday.

US only unless you want to pay more than the computer for shipping :P

Was thinking about $475 shipped, which is about 50 less than it costs for all these parts on newegg (using H40, new tx750v2, and a fx-4100 (960t finally went out)).

I know most people on here aren't interested but if you have any friends or family, it would make a great every-day computer or anything at all really.

Comes with the following parts
NEW:
-AMD Phenom II X4 960t 3ghz (will overclock and try to unlock once power supply and cooler gets in and update with the results)
-Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P AM3+
-Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
-OCZ Agility 3 60gb Solid State Drive
USED:
-Apex Vortex 3620 computer case (I bought new and is still in great condition)
-Corsair TX750 750 Watt power supply
-Corsair H50 Water Cooler

I would strongly suggest you lower the price. $50 less than newegg is only 10%.

Also, don't overclock the CPU, that will lower it's value.

Why not keep it? then you dont have to use the specs noted in your sig :P

Wish i could, dad said (since he paid for a lot of it) that i had to sell it and pay him back, but if i made a couple bucks, i could do it again untill i had some real money to do it myself and get my own rig and all.

Well i have the price lower on craigslist, it's just the shipping, do you know how much it would be about?

And i thought most people would pay more for a 4ghz quad core? what about unlocking? I could just have those as an option, so drop the price like 25, and go back up if the person wants it unlocked and overclocked with the cooler.

Depends on how old they are and how much they've been used. The absolute highest you should go on a product is about 75% retail. That's pretty much if you opened it and decided you didn't want it.

Overclocking (even with a good HSF or water cooler) wears down the CPU a lot faster than stock. And there is always the possibility of a brick. Not only that, but it would void any warranty on the CPU or Mobo. If someone wants it that way, that's cool, but I wouldn't charge more to do that.

Well the money would be for installing the cooler and using my thermal paste. Also it says up there which parts are brand new, from Sunday, and which are used.

Bump, everything is in and got ubuntu loaded

Typing this from it.

$450 OBO, if the shipping is at or under 50 i might do 450 shipped.

$430 shipped?

All it needs is the OS, unless you want ubuntu, and a graphics card if you want to game, and if you want to game or have a lot of files, a hdd too.

C'mon, 430 is good for this. Now running Win8 and working great, even played a couple games on it and does well, although crysis always crashed, think that might have been a os conflict or something, will prob reinstall later.

If any friends are looking for a comp this would be great, super fast, and would want 40 to install h50 and overclock or unlock it but would be amazing if i did that.
