Gaming and PCs

It seems this forum has been taken over by gamers. There's never any mention of "personal computer" any more. Any comments?
 
That's the main reason why people build badass gaming rigs, it's always been this way. We don't want some office workstation that can't run Crysis.
 
Hmm I don't know about this, I haven't noticed this.

Gaming PCs are PCs made to endure a lot of graphic requirement, they can also be used for video and photos, but people chose gaming pc. PC is just a general name for any type of computer.

Do you mean as in people using gaming consoles or just more oriented toward gaming computers? If gaming computers, then its always been that way. I would say people looking to build a computer that come here, 80% are for gaming and always has been. The way you build a gaming computer now, it can qualify for a multi tasking computer too.
 
I think most people doing basic computing would just buy one off a shelf. That would lead towards the focus on games. I also see some a decent amount of video editing.
