Game Drive + Registry?

Hi, I did some googling and I couldn't find an answer so I came here. I made a partition just for game installations so when I format I wouldn't have to install those games again. I read somewhere that it wouldn't be a good idea to do that because the games would not be in the registry and would sometimes be very buggy. Is it possible to add the registry manually or somehow add them again without reinstalling?

Most of todays apps/games require them to be reinstalled. I don't care what anybody tells you otherwise. There are a few stand alone programs that will work without being installed but most require registry entries and other system files to be installed.
