Just checking to see if anybody wonts to buy my 4850. I have had it up on craigslist but not so much as an e-mail. Elimin8or did have some interest in it but I haven't heard back from him so I thought I would go ahead and post it.

As for price I was thinking $85 USD shipped to anywhere in the US. Not really looking for trades as I don't need anything but if you think I might like it then let me know.

Edit: This card has a double lifetime warranty so the warranty will be switched to the new owner of the card.

I see you're selling yours too. Might want to tell people whether it has warranty or not ;)

ah yes good point. I will edit my OP and include that. BTW do you know what I need to do to get the warranty switched to the next owner?

how much would this outperform my 8800 gts 320mb card

Honestly probably not all that much. The 4850 might beat it by 20% and that is only in certain games. Although the 4850 can handle AA and higher res a lot better. It would probably not be worth an upgrade for you.

Along with the 20% better, the 4850 does run cooler and consume less energy. He could sell the gts for $50 or so, so this would only be a $35 upgrade. IMO, it's worth $35.

Good point it already runs in the low 40s at idle with some new thermal past it would be in the 30s. Yea it is very energy effective never had a problem running it on my 400w corsair.

And all you guys think I'm a hardcore Nvidia fanboy :P

I like Nvidia a little better but still prefer ATI. I have an 8800gt in my other rig and even though my 4850 out preforms it in games the 8800gt still runs the games smoother.

Just telling you guys that i had my card like this running 36c on the stock paste, they actually have decent coolers on them :good:

havent got any hits on my card i put it on craigs for 50 obo, gunna ask a couple friends if they want to upgrade from their 7 series cards
