Bought this xbox intending to buy the stuff to play it, but no longer interested. Its just the system, no HDD, no cables, no power brick.

Manufacture date is 2008-12-20, only turned on a few times for testing with a friends accessories. Also, i believe the mfr guarantee is still valid for activation 3 year (not 100% sure)

Perfect for anyone whose xbox has been fried.

No one wants to buy my Xbox 360 console, but I hope you have better luck. Does yours have HDMI output? Most people want those nowadays.

Is the serial number safe to give out? if someone can confirm it is ill be glad to message it.

I've seen on ebay and on other forums that people blur out the serial numbers and not show them. When registering a console, serial numbers are required. Also, when applying for free data migration kits, serial numbers are required. My suggestion, don't give it out. The person asking for the serial numbers doesn't need them. All Xbox 360s have 3 year warranty against the Red Ring of Death and E74 errors. Warranty ends 3 years from the date of original purchase.
 
Yeah, i never have tried registering it, and if there's a due date for it from purchase date i think it would be overdue by now.

I wouldn't recommend giving it out to anyone, but I would hope that the number of successful transactions that I've completed would be evidence that I am trustworthy.

The reason I would like to check is because if it has been registered, the warranty is non transferable without the original receipt. I would like to check that it has not been registered. I am genuinely interested in buying this, but I will not before checking the warranty status first.
 
I know, i can trust you. But is it even worth it, i never touched the registration, and no receipt on me. I still might give you the # later.
 
Your original post indicates that you are not the original owner. So even though you have not registered it, it is very possible that the first owner did.
 
Well i see new power bricks on ebay for $25, 20gb HDD for another $25, and cables, controllers maybe $30?

Its not the biggest savings, but like i said perfect for anyone whose xbox is fried they can just carry over there parts. Its probably as close to new as you can get, my friend used this for 2 weeks before selling it, and iv only tested it since.

asking $90 shipped.

That's a good price. Don't let the lowballers (thieves) try to rip you off. Does it have the Microsoft seal (under the face plate)? If it does, that also can help your sale.

Put it on your local craigslist. I sold my console with video cables and power cables for $100 cash. You should be able to get that much considering yours is newer and has the warranty seal.

Just put on your local craigslist along with pictures. There's no fees or commissions, and you get paid in cash. Don't give out the serial number unless they already paid you.
 
I do live in the US. Tucson, AZ to be precise, if your interested, hurry. $85 for basically a brand new xbox core system.
