(15% restocking fee)

So let me clarify, you could sell a completely dysfunctional PC, get a return on it, and still make a $105 profit, that's unbelievable! Restocking fees are hated in a business environment where it is actually semi-justified (restocking channels to go through), and you (one person) charge $105 bucks to "restock" a computer. If you sell a defective product, you should take it back, period. What "restocking" do you have to do that costs $105?

Ridiculous

It's fully working which means when the buyer gets it, it'll work. And I actually do have a business. A small business. Nothing big or anything. I don't actually restock. It's just if you want your money back, you pay a fee. I just put "re-stocking fee" so I wouldn't have to spell everything out. Sorry for any confusion. But if the PC was defected, like a virus is on it, you couldn't get your money back cause the warranty states that in my first post. But if there was a mechanical error as in a fan stopped working, yes you can return your money.

price seems a tad high as well

I found a tower on TigerDirect with the same specs (Only I have a bigger HDD) for $900. So think what you will.

Charge all the fees you want, I'm not buying it... However, a piece of advice for you "business"… As a consumer, the "small print" of restocking fees turns me away from your product. How do I know for sure that the product is functional as you say? If you are truly confident the product is not defective, removing the restocking fee will instill the confidence in the consumer needed to buy your product. Basically, from an unknown proprietor, a restocking fee causes suspicion.

I agree, the price is quite high for a computer with only a FX5500 in it. Tigerdirect doesn't really have great deals on whole computers.

I am going to have to agree with the others on this one. Your conditions aren't what I would consider as good business, and spells trouble for any buyer. A reputable seller should stand by his merchandise. For that price, I would darn well expect that the pc would work perfectly, and if it didn't would want a "full" refund. A have a feeling that operating like this, your business will indeed stay "small". Hey who knows, maybe somebody will come along and thing you are offering them a swell deal. I don't usually say anything negative about peoples sales, but in this case I couldn't help myself. Try to look at it as a positive critique.

Well I'm guess I won't be selling on this forum anymore..lol. Thanks for the advice everyone. My dad said the restocking fee would be a good idea but he doesn't know a flyin flip about computers anyway. He says he knows alot about business and economics but I guess I question that now.

I'll take the restocking fee out and lower the price incase there's anybody else who might be interested.
