FS: Intel 80GB G2 SSD

I have 2x the OEM Intel 80GB G2 SSD.

They are brand new, never opened. The seal tape is still in place.

I paid 254.58 each plus shipping from amazon.


I take paypal. $240 Shipped within the US. If the shipping is more than 10 dollars, buyer pay the difference.

240 is not the best deal for the Intel drive but it is still a good deal. If you are interested. PM me or leave a message on this thread.

I am building a new desktop based on I7 processor. I got the drive to do raid but changed my mind.

Another reason I got it is because I got a OCZ Agility ssd drive and put it in my laptop and my windows startup time was 35 sec at the longest.

Also I though spending 500 dollars on a OS drive is a little wasting at the moment. :o

ya but like I said not until the prices come down alot more. The idea of putting Windows on a small ssd drive and then use a mechanical drive for everything else is tempting but I would rather just get an ssd drive in the 200-300 gb range and use if for everything.

That is true. But it is going to be at least another year and possibly longer for any 200-300 GB ssd to be affordable for most of us.

I have never shipped anything to the UK before.

Does anybody know how the transaction will be done? Paypal?

I will check and see how much it costs to ship the drive to UK
 
i would send you the cash through paypal as a gift so you dont have to pay any fees and you would send the item as a gift so i didnt have to pay tax on it

I see. I will check with the USPS and see how much the shipping will be.

By the way. Can you sent your name and address to my private message box. This way I can check for shipping Price.

Would you prefer USPS or UPS? I think USPS is cheaper but UPS has better tracking information.

Seems like there is a big sale on Newegg for the drive.

Funkysnair please let me know if you are still interested.

I will be returning the Drives to Amazon soon for a refund.
