FS: Ibook that needs some help. Cheap!

I have a G3 Ibook that needs some help here.

Specs:

• G3 Proc at 800Mhz
• 256 MB of RAM
• Airport Extreme Card
• 30 Gig HD
• New Charger

Whats wrong with it:
It seems that there could possibly be a few things wrong with it, but i brought it down to two main things:
- Bad Screen Ribbon Cable
- Needs a new DC in ribbon cable0 http://cgi.ebay.com/DC-In-Board-iBo...15036993QQihZ008QQcategoryZ4601QQcmdZViewItem

I've been wanting a mac but I don't know, there is a lot to be done to that computer before its where I would like it. The ram is very small and the hard drive also and then the ribbon cable you mentioned.
