For sale is my Asus EeePC White 1000HA netbook, which was purchased from Newegg on 11/17/08 for $430. The same exact model sells for $390 now (on sale though for $350): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220440

I upgraded the RAM to 2GB of DDR2 667 Corsair ValueSelect (up from 1GB), so it works much better in both XP and Vista. The rest of the specs are as follows:

Screen: 10.0" @ 1024x600
CPU: Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz
Hard Drive: 160GB 5400RPM SATA
RAM: 2GB DDR2 667
OS: Windows XP Home
Battery: 6-Cell (4-6 Hours)
Wireless: 802.11b/g WiFI
Misc.: 1.3MP Camera, 3x USB, 2x Audio, 1x VGA, 1x 10/100 NIC, SD/MMC Card Reader, Stereo Speakers

The netbook is in great shape, just a few scratches on the bottom from it being set down on various surfaces. I will perform a fresh install of XP Home prior to shipping it out. I am at work now but I will post some photos when I get home, just thought I'd get the listing started now.

I will include the netbook as well as the AC power adapter, instruction manuals, and all other documentation/packaging in the original box.

I'm asking $299 shipped FIRM if payed via money order, or $310 shipped FIRM if payed via PayPal.

It did not come with an actual Windows XP CD, I can't recall if it comes with a restoration CD or not. If it does I will include it and update the listing, but for now I will use an existing copy of XP Home that I have but with the CD Key from this netbook.

I just don't use it like I thought I would, I have a 14.1" laptop as well and I just find myself using that 90% of the time. The Eee PC is a great portable computer, I wanted to set it up as a carputer but decided against it. There isn't anything wrong with it, just not exactly my taste.

i was going to get one when it was onsale for 350 and came with 3 gig ram and 9 cell battery until i heard the fan is really loud.

i was dissapointed kuz i thought it didn't have a fan
