Maybe so but its damaged goods. People should know what they are buying. The CPU might work but there is damage and a higher chance the pins could break. You shoulda mentioned that on here.

Also how are you affording a new CPU?

Wheres the video card and memory? Still waiting for those a month + later

Its also considered rude almost everywhere to explitly post to lower the chance of a sale on a buy and sell thread unless you have had a bad experriance with the buyer.

Maybe so, but wouldnt you want to know if there was any damage on what you are buying since there are no pics of what is for sale? He didnt even mention that in here but in another thread he clearly said it was damaged.

I just think that its wrong to post something for sale and not even say that pins are bent and more likely to break. If thats whats for sale people should know the condition of the product they are buying.

it was repaired, and besides, i might get it replaced by AMD soon anyways, cause i want a new one, and i do have a warrentee on the processor....

Either way the potential buyer should know about the history of it. Wouldnt you want to know what happened with the CPU before you buy it?

Why dont you get it replaced then sell it?

the CPU is only $300 new anyways, and if you can wait till COnroe it'll be cheaper. Computer parts are like cars, the second theyre used, even for 10 minutes, they depreciate immensely. Ever wonder why you can hardly ever find used computer equipment or rental equipment?

They do come with a three year warrenty, but I don't konw f that covers falling down a flight of stairs :/

AMD doesnt take returns that have physical damage to them caused from the owner not taking care of it properly.
