I've got a spare 140mm fan now that my new psu is running the fans that came with my case. It's brand new (I used it in my case for a few days) and it's clear. I'm pretty sure you can add LED's to it.

Model # is LI1425L12SA
Rated for 0.22A on 12V DC

I have a 3 pin to molex adapter that i'll include in case you have no 3 pin spots on your mobo left.

Price is $8 AU shipped to anywhere!

From what i remember it is 48.9 CFM and 22.5 DB (according to ebay listing)

Before i stuck it in my case, the heat from my HDD would build up in the drive bays and it was very uncomfortable/almost painful to touch the case. after i stuck it i could touch the case and it was a little less than room temp i guess.

On another note i couldn't hear it over my CPU fan, which is loud enough to keep me awake at night.

My room temp is about 26C because i have my heater on. the nice weather down here just went AWOL, so my heater is on.

Yeah, that's not what I found amusing. It is literally physically impossible for a typical fan to cool anything below room temperature, unless evaporation is occurring.

Although if he touched a metal part, it would have felt cooler than room temp to him because the metal would "absorb" some heat from your fingertip.

^ that's exactly what happened.

Are any of you going to buy this thing or are we just sitting here discussing the effects of heat dissipation? :P

Well, you can buy fans pretty cheap... $8 is about the most I would pay for a quality fan, much less one that just came with a case. This is the type of thing that you just give away for the cost of shipping.

This fan didn't come with my case. I bought it online before i got my case. (i didn't know i was even getting a new case in the first place!)

I'm pretty sure Lian Li is a good brand. They are known for making super-quiet stuff :D

If you'd bought the case from me, the fan I was throwing in would be worth selling!
