Free video editing software

Hi ALL


My system configuration is below:

Intel i5 processor, Intel DB85FL mother board, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB Seagate Sata Hard disk


I think the above is not enough to install a video editing software. Please suggest me what should I do (minimum system requirements) to install a free video editing software like Light works etc.

Fairly sure you can install one with those specs, but see if you can boost your ram up to another 4gb. It will help a lot in faster rendering.

Edit: apparently not, you will need to buy a processor like the i7 4770K and a dedicated graphics card. How much are you willing to spend?

I can add a 4gb ram as you said. But spending more than that is not possible for me now. Also, I bought this desktop before 1 month only. So, I will buy i7 4770k and graphics card after few months since its not an urgent.

Well since Lightworks is free download and install it and see if it runs OK on your system... you have nothing to lose.

You should be fine.

Sorry for delayed reply "ninjabubbles3". It's NOT a pre-built. i5-4440 CPU 3.10GHz.
