Fraps with Windows 8?

I know fraps isn't officially windows 8 compatible, but is there a way to make it work? I've tried, but it crashes my game randomly. If not, what are other good screen capture programs like fraps (money is no issue)? Thanks.

Nope. Fraps didn't crash, but minecraft did.

By the way does that game crash even with Fraps turned off?
Because if yes then the game is the problem.
