FOX news tackles the ultimate technology debate

missing facts for sure... yeah, macs come with an iLife suite, but what if you don't need it? it's the equivalent of bloatware :P

Yea alot easier than windows users mounting a camera and throwing their files into a pictures folder then browsing through and making folders for every event. the mac has ilife and if your cam is smart enough every day is organized into a event or so. iMovie is pretty fun TBH.

I agree there is some missing. Good and bad for both. I have been a strong advocate for mac in the past but I find myself becoming less and less impressed with them (iPad). The article brought up iLife and the features that you get with it. I have never been stumped looking for open source software that will meet my needs. I find that the open source software just has a higher learning curve than programs that you can go out and buy at a store. But for free I'm not going to complain about having to work a bit harder to learn the program. He mentioned that mac's are safer and I feel that they are safer for the people that have almost no idea what they are doing with the internet or a computer in general. I have AVG free and I just watch what I do. That seems to be just fine for me. Not to mention that I trust some of the other big name security companies as much as I trust the person who drives a big rusty van with free candy painted on the side...

I will say for macs that I like the way that I like the way that they set up their laptops. I have been temped to find a broken mac and put windows 7 or Ubuntu on it. Which I know will make some mac loyalists cry.

As for desktops, I will never buy a mac. I can do better than that for cheaper.
