Football Manager 2009 HELP

Ive just installed fm again but when i double click it, it comes up "fm.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost"

Im very upset and dissapointed as I was looking forward to playing this.

Help needed urgently
