Finished my Gaming PC -Acer H236HL Monitor.

Hi

I do a fair amount of gaming and am looking for a nice monitor in the $200 range. I've been looking closely at this one: Acer H236HL. Is this monitor any good? It's price is pretty reasonable and I love the glossy screen. My only concern about it is that it is only 60hz. Will this be noticeable when gaming?

I am also looking to buy some decent speakers (perferebly under $100). If you guys have any ideas I'd love to hear them.

For monitor, I would recommend go for fast response time like 2ms or go for ips panel.

What speaker do you after?
2.0? 2.1? 5.1?

These 2.1 speakers are just over $100 but they're well worth the money. I really like my set.

I have an Acer G246HL 24". And I love it! For the price - performance ratio it's hard to beat. And from what I can read from the customer reviews, the H236HL are good too. The Logitech speaker set that voyagerfan99 recommend are a good choise for the price tag.

Don't forget to buy a DVI cable or a HDMI dito.
