Finding Computers in Network

Hello,

I got this one little question, does someone know if it is possible to get all the IP's from your local network on a PC that's connected to your local network?

If yes, could you please name the program or give me a site?

And is this possible with a simple DOS command?

Ummm...well im not sure. BUT, if you're on a router, you can go to the config page and look at the DHCP table and see the clients. However, you won't see them if they are set to a static IP.

Isn't there a program or something for it? I want something that I can install on every computer and see which computer is in my local network. Without accessing my router all the time..

there are loads of these things available, which mainly consist of pinging all the address in your network ip range.

which has a good list, something like NetSniffer, or NetScan will do the job nicely

try "netscan" most of these programs are free
just go to download.com and search for ip scanner
