File recovery software

Hey CF
I've done something stupid and I've deleted something that I really shouldn't have deleted and need it back real bad. Could anyone point me in the direction of some good file recovery software? preferably free? I can't seem to find anything that looks legit and safe.

What did you delete? Try System Restore tool. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.

If not, try one of these:
1. EasyRecovery 6.10 Professional (trial)
2. PC Inspector File Recovery 4.0 (freeware)
3. Recover My Files 4.4.8.575 (shareware)
4. Recuva 1.34.460 (freeware)
5. UndeleteMyFiles Pro 2.10 (trial)
6. UndeleteMyFiles 2.7 (freeware)

Obviously all trials and those to which you need to buy a license are incomparably better than freeware or shareware versions.
