Faster connection speed

Greetings.

I have a new Acer Aspire One with a 10 inch screen. Thanks to all of your help i now know my connection speed is too slow. I cannot watch online videos or movies without them pausing or freezing every 3 to 4 seconds.

I have two questions:

1) Does anyone know what the minimum connection speed should be to make videos and movies play normally? My current speed is 460 Kpbs. I have a data cable connected to my phone and computer from T-Mobile.

2) Does anyone know of a wireless modem service I could get in my area (Burbank, CA) for say under $50 a month with unlimited internet access? I tend to move frequently so it has to be wireless as opposed to some type of high-speed cable hookup.

As always, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Look at cell coverage maps and find what one has the best service, if Sprint has 4G service in your area that would be your best bet. AT&T is faster then Verizon and T-Mobile, so if you get full coverage then AT&T would be good.

I have Verizon and when I was tethered with full 3G coverage my download speeds were around 800Kbs-1.2Mbs, AT&T was around 1Mbs-1.8Mbs. Videos still required long buffering time however.
