far cry?

i got far cry and i tryed online play but I can seem to connect to the server?

i go to the menu then to multiplayer option and enter my password and username and the it says its logging into ubi.com but after waiting 30 min i just turn off the game what should I do


maybe its my firewall , how can i allow the game to connect to internet

Well, in the readme or somewhere it should tell you what ports that the game uses for you to open in your firewall.

Have you checked the ports in your firewall?

Here are the ports used by Far Cry

UBI.com ports: TCP: 40000 - 42999
UDP: 41005

FarCry game ports:

Server: Outgoing port 49001/49002
Ingoing is client dependant

Client: Ingoing port is 49001/49002
Outgoing is client dependant (usually set by
the OS automatically)


what do i do know?
