Fan way too loud

I was wondering if there is a program I can use, preferably right from Windows, that will allow me to change my CPU fan speed? My fan is at like 5300 RPM, and my comp is around 33 degrees celsius; I would be willing to sacrafice some temperature for some quiet. Thanks.

you can eaither buy a new fan, or get a fan controller. Your choice, fan controller is more expensive, but allows you to control multiple fans and their rpm.

hey dude just see whether ur fan is clean or no...its liek when there is too much of dust accumulated in the fan or near the fan it becomes very noisy..so just see once..ok byee tc..peace out..1!!!!

Yes but on his first post, it says that his fan is at 5300rpm :P

fan speed is pretty much correlated with fan size. if you want a quiet fan without sacraficing airflow, i'd recommend in getting a larger quieter fan.. that's if there's room for your case to accomodate it.
