PNY 256MB PC133 laptop RAM - $30 shiped
Linksys 802.11G PC-Card - $40 shipped

Basically, we were trying to setup a laptop for someone. The laptop didn't like the RAM. Yes, the RAM's fine, just the Dell is VERY particular about what RAM it'll accept. The wireless card is fine as well. Basically she's getting a new laptop and has no need for this card anymore. The card's probably got maybe an hour on it. The stuff's brand new. She just tossed the box for the card so couldn't return it, and was too busy to get around to returning the ram...

I know she wants to get rid of the RAM, and I can't see why she'd keep the wifi card. I'll have a definet answer tomorrow.

Oh, and sirmixalot42691 and I had been talking about the RAM. I'm afraid I was the one who kind of backed down. If you're still intersted, I'll give you priority.

What is she going to do with the dead lappy?

Probably give it to me. It's not "dead" just very slow. Windows XP on a 400MHz processor with 64MB RAM and a slow HD isn't that swift ;)

I actually had some hopes to convert it into a media player. It has TV Out and front loading drives, so I could stick it by my TV and play stuff from it. I'd probably just run something like windows 98, or maybe a modified version of BartPE if I can find enough drives and all...
