External HD

Hi all
Ive got an external HD hooked up to my comp and Im wondering if there is any way that downloading to that external HD would be slowed down since it is connected with USB.

I dont see why there would be a problem but Im not as computer savvy as many.

Hmm...I am guessing that it is USB2 right? The theoretical speed is 480Mbits/second. Now I know the HDD will not write and read data that fast, but I would not think that the speed should be affected in any way really.

u would only get around 22-25mb/sec transfer.
