External Hard Drive Backup for Server 2003

I am running Windows server 2003 on my network server and want to use an external hard drive specifically for backups. Any recomendation on which one, with reasonable price.

pretty much depends on your preference... hdd size.. brand.. speed.. etc.. they are all pretty much reasonably priced at the same price..
 
i always make my own externals. just got a plain old hard drive which come pretty cheap these days compared to back in the day, get an enclosure for $30 or so (the ones i get are $45, but i have seen them for less). try newegg.com, xoxide.com, and if ure feeling lucky, tiger direct. a lot more places have them too.
 
I went and bought one at Staples and it was not compatible with Server 2003. I took it back and they did not have one that will work with Server 2003. I did not know if there was a certain one for this application.
