Note: I'm not good at computers at all, so keep answers somewhat understandable for a nub like me please
I had a power outage recently that took out my power supply, but I'm getting it replaced for free by Corsair. I didn't have a surge protector to stop the damage. My computer still functions when I use my old power supply (while I wait to get my replacement in the mail), but occasionally when I'm watching videos on Youtube my computer screen starts to "shake" and freezes. If I log off/switch user by hitting ctrl + alt + delete and come back it solves the problem. My computer screen seems to "shake" and then freeze when I skip ahead in the video too much, making my computer have to load a new part of the video I'm watching. I looked up similar issues online and some people seem to think damaged motherboards can cause this behavior. My computer is still almost fully functional besides this annoyance but I want to make sure my motherboard or some other part of my computer isn't damaged.
Anyone know what the issue might be?
Thanks
