Proud to say the first PC build I've done by myself, researched over the past 2 years and all (with help from you guys), is finally alive.

I'm currently running an A6-5400K to get my BIOS updated, and once that's complete I'll be running some benchmarks for my YouTube channel and dropping my Athlon X4 860K back in :)

P.S: Thanks to Voyager, John, Spirit (who helped convince me to build), Geoff, Strangle, and Turbobooster + many others who helped me!

So the issue with your BIOS was preventing you getting video from the R9 280X or was that a different thing all together?
 
It was because the motherboard didn't support the cpu without a bios update. He had to order a cpu that bios supported first in order to update it.

Exactly. About to update as we speak..

UPDATE: Works with the 860K... About to do some benchmarking (skipped the A6 bc I forgot I have to return it :P)

Unigine Valley 1.0 ran really well in Ultra. Dipped down to 16 FPS once, max was 97 FPS and the temps stayed around 55°C with the stock O/C from sapphire and no overclock on my processor.

Going to run it again tomorrow..

Yup haha... ACTUALLY, the computer science kids at my school have a thing with naming computers with a russian or german girl's name. Eva was my favorite :)
