Error when transferring files

Hey all. I've been transferring files to another hard drive and I get this error code. It only seems to happen when I transfer a huge batch of files (100-200GB worth), but when I transfer small bits at a time, it doesn't do it. Anyone know what the problem could be? The hard drive I'm transferring files from is NTFS and the one that I'm transferring to is Mac OS Extended.

Is the hard drive NTFS or FAT32?

Well, you are on a mac, correct? Probably FAT32, which can't transfer over 4GB.

If you want to convert it to NTFS, you'll have to reformat that hard drive and follow these directions:

It's formatted in Mac OS Extended. The other one is NTFS. So I should have no problem with the 4GB limit.
